Bearwaters Brewery started as a small hole in the wall brewery in Waynesville North Carolina. Since then we've won multiple awards for our beer including a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival.

Currently we have two taprooms. Our Canton North Carolina location which is about 20 minutes away from both Asheville North Carolina and Waynesville North Carolina.

This location sits on the pigeon river and offers a bright open space and large outdoor patio. Perfect for families, and you can even bring your dogs.

We also operate our Maggie Valley North Carolina location. This one is about 30 minutes from Asheville North Carolina and 20 minutes from Waynesville North Carolina. At this location we offer an upscale taproom experience featuring a full bar and the best steak in Haywood county. What truly makes us unique though is our authentic Thai food and wood fired pizza oven. So what are you waiting for? Come have a cocktail by the riverside.
